Nowadays cyber criminals seem to be everywhere, with a few clicks, committing all kinds of cyber crimes. To illustrate, some commit fraud or lift intellectual property. Others subvert deals, snatch passwords or disrupt e-commerce. Still others unleash viruses to crash computers. As a result, these hackers do a great damage to companies and computer users, causing computer losses up to 10 billion dollars per year.
Naturally, there are many causes for the cyber crimes. In addition to the wicked nature of the hackers, the nature of Internet partially nourish the crimes. Just because there are holes in Internet, the complex software is buggy and often infested, the cyber vandals can find out the weakness in the Website software programs and IV manipulating software glitches, gain access to Website, committing all kinds of crimes.
However, we shouldn't tolerate these cyber criminals any more. And it's high time for us to take all the effective steps to battle the cyber crooks. First we should reinforce the cyber laws to protect the Web, the powerful engine of economy. Besides, we should use high techniques to improve intrusion detection and computer security. Finally, we should train more talented people to build up more firewalls so as to make the net immune to all kinds of viruses and unalienable to all kinds of cyber criminals.

With the popularization of Internet, cyber crimes have become a serious problem facing us. Nowadays cyber criminals seem to be everywhere on the Internet. As college students, we have responsibility to join the battle against cyber crimes. For one thing, we should not use others’ computers unless we get permission. For another, we should be honest to others on the Internet and not release or spread unreal information. In a word, it takes our common efforts to defeat cyber crimes.

Online gamers in China will have to begin registering with their real names due to the new government regulations. Netizens may no longer post their comments on websites anonymously either. Because authorities will implement the real-name registration in communication sectors of cyberspace, such as bulletin board system,also known as BBS in short.
The new regulations have provoked different reactions from the public. Some people say that they will benefit the healthy and orderly development of China’s Internet, e.g. protecting minors from Internet addiction and helping prevent irresponsible expression online. Others, however, oppose the regulations. They are concerned about web users’ private information and personal safety.
Personally, I think we should treat online real-name registration separately. For example, it’s necessary to use your real name on games or shopping websites. But online forums are designed to encourage web users to express their views freely. If required to use real names on bulletin boards, web users may not feel free to express their real thoughts.
Stepping Away from On-line Games
Nowadays, more and more college students are addicted to online games. Those games may be funny and exciting, but are very harmful to those addicts.
In my opinions, there are many disadvantages of game addition. Firstly, online games take up a lot of players’ time for study. Many of the addicts found themselves forced to drop out of school for academic performance. Secondly, addicts tend to isolate themselves from the reality. What’s worse, indulging in the virtual world for a long time, they are more liable to suffer mental problems and physical collapse. Thirdly, players are exposed to too much violent and unhealthy material, which is definitely harmful to their growth.
In short, I cannot see any benefits from online games. Study should be the primary concern of college students. Therefore, I do hope they can step away from online games.

With the development of internet technology, internet has been replacing the way that we communicate by letter. And, it is also a trend to tell troubles to others, because of the high life speed and stress.
Someone enjoy making friends on internet. Firstly, internet makes the world smaller, you can make friends from all over the world. That is interesting. Secondly, it is a good way to release pressure, if you have something that you don not want to talk to your friends around you, you can talk to your strange friends on internet. Thirdly, it is obviously faster, easier and cheaper than letters or other old communication. Last but not the least, making friends on internet adapts to the modern life. But, someone has the opposite view on looking for friends on internet. They think there exist many cheats, unhealthy things on internet, we can list many examples. And, you can not really know a person just by communication on internet. Even worse, somebody may be drunk in making friends on internet, which is harmful to our mental and body health.
So, in my opinion, everything has two sides, it is very important that the way we take use of internet. I think that making friends on internet is a good way for us to make progress, learn new
things, and so on. However, we should understand clearly what is right and what is not. Then, the most important thing is to take care, as the old saying goes, it is not brilliant to judge someone by appearance.
