The impression of Pride and Prejudice

The book《 Pride and Prejudice》 is written by Jane Austen , a famous English writer. In this book, the writer tells us her views and attitudes about love and marriage. I still remember the first sentence in this book .It reads :"It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must in need of a wife ." The first time I saw this sentence was in the writing class and the teacher said it was a very standard periodic ,so I'm very impressed with this sentence.A book began with such a beautiful sentence, then the contents of the book should also be extremely beautiful. At least, after I have read it, I think it deserves such an evaluation. The novel mainly tells us a love story between Elizabath and Mr.Darcy.When they met at the party for the first time, Mr. Darcy's pride and supercilious behaviors left a terrible impression on Elizabeth. This is the beginning of Elizabeth's prejudice against Mr.Darcy.Besides this, there are two other things that have led to Elizabeth deepen her misunderstanding of Mr.Darcy.The first is Wickham speak something ill of Mr.Darcy to Elizabeth, and the second is Elizabeth believes that Mr.Darcy have separated her sister and Bingley. But with the plots developing ,Darcy gradually changed himself, and become no longer pride ,he also helps Jane and Bingley's reunion .What's more ,when Elizabeth's sister was missing, he tried his best to help her.Since then, Elizabeth in the past to Darcy's all kinds of prejudice turn into the sincere love. Eventually , Elizabeth and Darcy become a couple and live a happy life from then on.

After reading this novel, I realize the author's attitudes and views towards love and marriage: it is unpractical to marry just only consider the property, wealth and social status.Marriage should be based on a real love and it is not a game! There is a gap which is called pride and prejudice between Elizabeth and Darcy, for they have different social status and property. But in the end they broke all the obstacles, become a pair of enviable and happy couple. And I think this book will let people understand the importance of marriage for love.Maybe it's just a little, but that's enough.I hope I could see a great book like this again in the future.
