How time flies! I have studied in my school for three years. And I will graduate from middle school in a month.
I had so many memories in three years’ life. One of them impressed me greatly. I still remember, when I began to learn English, I found it too difficult. No matter how I tried, I still couldn’t learn it well and almost gave it up. As soon as my English teacher found my problem, she had a talk with me and told me how to learn English. Since then, she has kept helping me. Little by little, I became interested in English and did well in it.
I am so lucky to become one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her. I will try to help others when they are in trouble. I think it is a happy thing to help others.

As we can see, the environment around us is getting worse and worse. Our life and health have been affected greatly. The earth is our home and it is our duty to take care of it—not only for ourselves, but also for our future generations.

Should students make friends on the Internet?

Others, however, think students should not make friends on line. They say chatting on line is just a waste of time. Besides, students may get cheated on the Internet.
In my opinion, I think students should place their study, health and safety before other things. As for friendship, we can make friends with our classmates and other people around us.

Changes in the Way of Communication
In recent years, great changes have taken place in the way of communication in people’s life.
In the past, people kept in touch with each other mainly by writing letters or using public telephone. But now almost everyone has his own mobile phone. People can communicate with each other almost at any place and at any time. What ’s more, people can contact their friends easily through the Internet.
With these changes, the pace of life has been quickened and the work has been more efficient. It used to take several days to hear from each other, but now it takes only several minutes, even if they are in two different continents. In a word, people have an easier life nowadays.

Great changes have taken place in people’s life in the past 30years. In the past, people kept in touch with their relatives or friends mainly by sending letters. They would listen to the radio for news and other informations. Children used to go to school by bike. Big families had to crowd into a small house.
Now people can communicate with others by telephone or through the Internet. They watch TV for news and other informations. Many families send their children to school in their own cars. People now are living in big and bright houses with several rooms.
In a word, people live much better than they did 30 years ago.

Live in Harmony with Nature
In the picture, we can see a man putting a box in a tree to make a nest for birds. Some birds fly to live in it. To the man’s great surprise, the birds eat pests and his crops grow better.
The pictures tell us that human beings and animals can benefit from each other if they live in harmony. Animals are our good friends and we should take good care of them, just like the man in the picture. He makes a safe and comfortable nest for the birds. In return, the birds protect his crops by eating the pests. Sometimes a simple act of kindness can make a big difference.
Let ’s work together to make the world to become better place, so human beings and other creatures can live in perfect harmony.

It is important to study hard. But activities after class are as important as study. By taking part in activities after class, students can learn what they can ’t learn from books. For example, students can develop their team spirit and sense of competition by playing basketball or football. Besides, we can make friends, have fun and improve ourselves by taking part in activities after class.
So I think it’s good for our study and growth to take part in activities after class.

To live a low-carbon life, we ’d better save energy as much as possible. Turn off the lights and TV whenever they are not needed. Try to walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Use cloth bags instead of plastic bags while shopping. Try to reuse paper and water. There are many other ways to live a low-carbon life, such as recycling things, planting trees, reusing textbooks and so on.
If everyone learns to save energy and live a low-carbon life, the earth will become a better place for us to live on.

The worst example of man ’s waste is the waste of time. Many people are wasting their precious time on useless things, such as watching TV , playing mahjong, playing games, chatting online or fooling around.
It is time to get rid of the bad habit of wasting. We must save water, electricity and other resources. Besides, wasting time is equal to wasting our lives, so we must make good use of our time to learn and improve.

How to Learn English Well
First, we should often listen to the tapes, English songs and programs. Watching English movies is also helpful to us. Second, we should speak English in class as much as possible. Don ’t be afraid of making mistakes. The more you speak, the fewer mistakes you’ll make. We ’d better join the English club and practice with other. Third, we can read more English newspapers and magazines. It ’s good for us. At last, we should recite some good passages and keep diaries.
In a word, as long as we do more listening, speaking, reading and writing, we will learn English well.
The Low-carbon Lifestyle
Now the low-carbon lifestyle is becoming popular among people. As a student, I usually ride to school. And I seldom buy soft drinks. Instead, I drink boiled water. What’s more, using fans is a better choice for me than using air conditioners.
To reduce waste, I use both sides of paper. I also reuse plastic bags and water. Besides, I sort the waste for recycling. I’m proud of what I’ve done.
What we should always keep in mind is to save more energy and produce less waste. If everyone makes an effort, we’ll live a better life.
How to Get on Well with Others
As we know, students should learn how to get on well with others, but in what ways? First of all, we should respect others. Everybody has their own way to do things, so we should understand each other. Besides, it is important for us to communicate with each other and share our happiness and sadness. What ’s more, we should be kind to others and offer necessary help to those who are in trouble.
In m opinion, we should treat others in an honest way. Only in these ways can we get along well with each other.
Safety is very important to everyone. Middle school students are flowers of our country, so students’ safety is becoming the focus to us all.
First, we must obey the traffic rules when we go out. Don’t cross the street when the traffic lights are red. Keep to the right in the street.
Second, we should eat healthy food. Don’t eat junk food. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Eat less meat and eggs.
Besides, don’t hurt ourselves while we are playing. It’s dangerous to swim in the river alone, so don’t go to the river without permission. In a word, it’s important to remember these for us all.
Traffic Safety
Traffic safety is everybody’s business. We must obey the rules. For example, we must walk on sidewalks. When we cross zebra-crossing, stop and look right and left, then go across fast. Don’t play football on the road. We can tell our parents not to drink before they drive, not to run through red lights, not to talk while driving etc.
We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thinks traffic safety is everybody’s business can we be safe driving on roads and walking on sidewalks.

Dear friends,
As we can see, the environment around us is getting worse and worse. Our life and health have been affected greatly. The earth is our home and it is our duty to take care of it—not only for ourselves, but also for our future generations.
I think we can do the following things. First, go to school on foot or by bike as often as possible. We can save a lot of energy in this way. Second, turn off the lights before leaving the room. Third, don ’t throw litter here and there. Fourth, try to save water in our daily life.
It ’s time for us to do something to protect our environment. If we take good care of the environment today, we will have a better life tomorrow.

How to Spend Your Pocket Money?
Nowadays, students, get more and more pocket money from our parents and relatives. But how should we spend it?
Firstly, you can save it in the bank to develop a good habit of saving money. Secondly, it’s a good idea to buy some useful books to read. It can help increase your knowledge. Thirdly, if you are interested in stamp collecting, music or sports, you could spend your pocket money on these things.
Students may spend their pocket money in many different ways, but it should never be wasted on junk food or video games.

Reading is good for our growth. It can open our eyes and our minds. It can make us wise and make our life wonderful.
We should make it a rule to read every day and read as many good books as we can.

Should students make friends on the Internet?
Some people say yes. The Internet helps students make many friends. When chatting on line, students can express their feelings and opinions freely. They can also get useful advice on study and life from their net friends.
Others, however, think students should not make friends on line. They say chatting on line is just a waste of time. Besides, students may get cheated on the Internet.
In my opinion, I think students should place their study, health and safety before other things. As for friendship, we can make friends with our classmates and other people around us.

Changes in the Way of Communication
In recent years, great changes have taken place in the way of communication in people’s life.
In the past, people kept in touch with each other mainly by writing letters or using public telephone. But now almost everyone has his own mobile phone. People can communicate with each other almost at any place and at any time. What ’s more, people can contact their friends easily through the Internet.
With these changes, the pace of life has been quickened and the work has been more efficient. It used to take several days to hear from each other, but now it takes only several minutes, even if they are in two different continents. In a word, people have an easier life nowadays.

Changes in People’s Life
Great changes have taken place in people’s life in the past 30years. In the past, people kept in touch with their relatives or friends mainly by sending letters. They would listen to the radio for news and other informations. Children used to go to school by bike. Big families had to crowd into a small house.
Now people can communicate with others by telephone or through the Internet. They watch TV for news and other informations. Many families send their children to school in their own cars. People now are living in big and bright houses with several rooms.
In a word, people live much better than they did 30 years ago.

Live in Harmony with Nature
In the picture, we can see a man putting a box in a tree to make a nest for birds. Some birds fly to live in it. To the man’s great surprise, the birds eat pests and his crops grow better.
The pictures tell us that human beings and animals can benefit from each other if they live in harmony. Animals are our good friends and we should take good care of them, just like the man in the picture. He makes a safe and comfortable nest for the birds. In return, the birds protect his crops by eating the pests. Sometimes a simple act of kindness can make a big difference.
Let ’s work together to make the world to become better place, so human beings and other creatures can live in perfect harmony.

Activities after Class
Nowadays, the burden of middle school students is so heavy. They have to study at school all day long; their parents take them to all kinds of interest classes on weekends or holidays.
It is important to study hard. But activities after class are as important as study. By taking part in activities after class, students can learn what they can ’t learn from books. For example, students can develop their team spirit and sense of competition by playing basketball or football. Besides, we can make friends, have fun and improve ourselves by taking part in activities after class.
So I think it’s good for our study and growth to take part in activities after class.
低碳生活
众所周知，我们的环境正在日益恶化。我们应该过低碳生活来保护环境。
为了过低碳生活，我们要尽可能低节约能源。电灯和电视不用的时候要关掉。尽量走路或骑车去上学，而不是坐车。购物的时候用布袋而不是用塑料袋。纸张和水尽量重复使用。低碳生活还有其他许多方式，如物品回收利用、植树和重复使用课本等。
如果每个人都学会节约能源和过低碳生活，我们的地球会越来越适合我们居住。
Low-carbon Life
As we all know, the environment is getting worse and worse. We should live a low-carbon life in order to protect the environment.
To live a low-carbon life, we ’d better save energy as much as possible. Turn off the lights and TV whenever they are not needed. Try to walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Use cloth bags instead of plastic bags while shopping. Try to reuse paper and water. There are many other ways to live a low-carbon life, such as recycling things, planting trees, reusing textbooks and so on.
If everyone learns to save energy and live a low-carbon life, the earth will become a better place for us to live on.
让我们停止浪费

Let ’s Stop Wasting
People are wasting things everywhere and every day. Wherever we go, we can see people wasting food, water, electricity and many other things. Governments are wasting a lot of money on image projects. Wasting has become one of the most serious problems in our country.
The worst example of man ’s waste is the waste of time. Many people are wasting their precious time on useless things, such as watching TV , playing mahjong, playing games, chatting online or fooling around.
It is time to get rid of the bad habit of wasting. We must save water, electricity and other resources. Besides, wasting time is equal to wasting our lives, so we must make good use of our time to learn and improve.

Build a Harmonious Society
Our government is going to build a harmonious society. I think it is everyone ’s duty to work hard to achieve this goal.
First of all, we should love our motherland. Never do anything that may harm our country and the society. We should also love our hometown and our school.
Secondly, let’s fill the world with love. We should show our respect for old people, our parents and teachers. We should also care for each other and help each other.
Last but not least, let’s work together to save energy and protect our environment. We should try to live in harmony with nature.

Graduation Speech
Good afternoon, my dear teachers and fellow students.
It is my great honor to make a speech on behalf of all the graduating students of 2012.
It has been three years for us to study in this beautiful school. Our teachers always try to make their lessons lively and interesting. We have learned a lot over these years. We will never forget it ’s our teachers ’ efforts, our parents ’ support and our classmates ’ help that bring us to where we are. At this moment, I would like to thank all of you for what you have done for us.

How to Learn English Well
First, we should often listen to the tapes, English songs and programs. Watching English movies is also helpful to us. Second, we should speak English in class as much as possible. Don ’t be afraid of making mistakes. The more you speak, the fewer mistakes you’ll make. We ’d better join the English club and practice with other. Third, we can read more English newspapers and magazines. It ’s good for us. At last, we should recite some good passages and keep diaries.
In a word, as long as we do more listening, speaking, reading and writing, we will learn English well.
The Low-carbon Lifestyle
Now the low-carbon lifestyle is becoming popular among people. As a student, I usually ride to school. And I seldom buy soft drinks. Instead, I drink boiled water. What’s more, using fans is a better choice for me than using air conditioners.
To reduce waste, I use both sides of paper. I also reuse plastic bags and water. Besides, I sort the waste for recycling. I’m proud of what I’ve done.
What we should always keep in mind is to save more energy and produce less waste. If everyone makes an effort, we’ll live a better life.
How to Get on Well with Others
As we know, students should learn how to get on well with others, but in what ways? First of all, we should respect others. Everybody has their own way to do things, so we should understand each other. Besides, it is important for us to communicate with each other and share our happiness and sadness. What ’s more, we should be kind to others and offer necessary help to those who are in trouble.
In m opinion, we should treat others in an honest way. Only in these ways can we get along well with each other.
Safety is very important to everyone. Middle school students are flowers of our country, so students’ safety is becoming the focus to us all.
First, we must obey the traffic rules when we go out. Don’t cross the street when the traffic lights are red. Keep to the right in the street.
Second, we should eat healthy food. Don’t eat junk food. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Eat less meat and eggs.
Besides, don’t hurt ourselves while we are playing. It’s dangerous to swim in the river alone, so don’t go to the river without permission. In a word, it’s important to remember these for us all.
Traffic Safety
Traffic safety is everybody’s business. We must obey the rules. For example, we must walk on sidewalks. When we cross zebra-crossing, stop and look right and left, then go across fast. Don’t play football on the road. We can tell our parents not to drink before they drive, not to run through red lights, not to talk while driving etc.
We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thinks traffic safety is everybody’s business can we be safe driving on roads and walking on sidewalks.
